Dr Andy Moores, Research Programme Manager, Environment Agency

Andy has led the Joint FCERM Research Programme on behalf of the Environment Agency since 2007. The programme plays a key role in synthesising and delivering the evidence which underpins much of UK FCRM policy and practice.

In 2012 Andy also co-authored the Living with Environmental Change UK FCERM Research Strategy which outlines priorities and ways of working across the academic-practitioner interface.

Since starting work at the Environment Agency in 2003 Andy has also been involved in incident response, most recently leading the Environment agency input into West Yorkshire Gold Command as part of the Boxing Day 2015 floods.
