Flooding and coastal change risks from the Climate Change Risk Assessment
In 2017 the Committee on Climate Change published the Climate Change Risk Assessment Evidence Report. This independent analysis brought together existing knowledge as well as new research to examine the key risks and opportunities that the UK faces as a result of our changing climate. In this presentation, the main risks relating to flooding and coastal change will be presented and the remaining research gaps will be identified. Indeed, since the report publication, work has been continuing on the examination of areas of uncertainty and their corresponding policy gaps - this current work will be presented here.
