Sally is leading the FCRM Sustainability 2020 Plan for the Environment Agency with a focus on managing waste, water and carbon for all construction, maintenance and operational activities. She is National Programme Manager for asset management looking at modernising our systems and using data and information in a dynamic more accessible way. BIM plays a big part in this alongside our Creating Asset Management Programme (CAMC). Sally brings her past experience as director for the Low Zero Carbon Hub in Wales where she was responsible for raising awareness of the carbon agenda across industry for delivering low carbon solutions in the built environment.
Sally is also a director for Engineers for Overseas Development (EFOD) which delivers life changing sustainable community projects in sub-Sahara Africa. This engineering charity provides challenging opportunities for our young construction professionals to volunteer to gain valuable experience to help them with their training to become professionally qualified. She has recently returned from working in Uganda undertaking post project reviews. EFOD Home Page
Sally is a chartered engineer, a chartered environmentalist, a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a fellow and trustee of the Women’s Engineering Society and a member of the Chartered Institute for Water and Environmental Management.
