THEME 1. Partnership Working.

Collaborative Relationships provide a firm basis for successful partnership working.

We have established partnerships with designers, Water framework partners and clients, and in other sectors, based on BS11000 (ISO44001).

A formalised approach, with clearly aligned joint vision, is fundamental to achieving excellent outcomes including:

  •  Customer reputation
  • Framework Efficiencies
  • Environmental benefits

Being part of a long term collaborative partnership means everyone has a voice, co-operation is enhanced, knowledge sharing and framework performance is maximised.

Performance is maintained and improved through regular meetings encouraging open engagement amongst partners.

In our experience this approach enhances:

  • Understanding
  • Potential to develop joint initiatives
  • Continued measureable improvement

All partners acknowledge that this collaborative approach entails long term commitment to ensure the required level of relationship maturity for success.

Commitment from all partners is based upon:

  • Customer focus
  • Shared Vision, Skills and Responsibilities
  • Listening to each-other
  •  Transparency, trust and openness
  • Everyone pulling in the same direction
  • Commitment from business leaders
  • Innovative approaches
  •  Balanced/appropriate Risk Management
  • Actively promoting BIM Better Information Management

By adopting and implementing these commitments partnerships are more certain of successfully delivering outcomes and aspirations.
