Dr Pedro J. Martin-Moreta, Brunel University

12 years of professional experience in Consultancy in the fields of river engineering, river restoration, flood risk assessment and flood risk modelling. 6 years of experience in teaching and research in the HE (UCLM, UPC-Spain, UWL and now Brunel University).

Main research areas: flood hydraulics, flow in floodplain rivers and flood numerical modelling. Other research interests: river engineering, effects of vegetation in river flow, riverbed scour at bridges and natural hazards.

Research output: more than 10 papers in international journals and international conferences in the topics of flood hydraulics and flood numerical modelling.

Main Skills: laboratory research, field works and numerical modelling as user of different 1D,2D and 3D fluid dynamics codes.
